Mokena School District 159 Board of Education members voted 6-0 at a special meeting Feb. 26 to approve a contract for the district’s new superintendent, Mark Cohen, effective July 1 and continues until June 30, 2023. Board member Lisa Zielinski was absent. Cohen’s contract stipulates a $165,000 per year salary.
